Dry Needling

Dry needling is a treatment technique, which uses small filament type needles to release tight muscles with the goal of permanently reducing muscle pain and dysfunction. The aim is to achieve a local twitch response of a trigger point to release muscle tension and pain. A trigger point is a hyperirratble spot within a taut band of muscle.

Trigger point dry needling directly addresses the neuromuscular system affecting muscle tightness, joint mobility, and symptoms of pain and irritation.
